For the seventh competition, the following topics were suggested for analysis:
- Short term forecasting of Hungarian natural gas demand – challenges of the past few years
- Current state and future of gas-fired power plants in Europe
- Benchmarking of Hungarian district heating companies
- Relationship of ownership (public vs. private) and regulated end-user tariffs in some utility sectors
- Factors affecting the day-ahead price on the Hungarian electricity exchange, focusing on outliers
- Transformation of renewable support schemes and its causes in Europe
- Economic experiences of green infrastructure investment affecting city climate and water
4 papers were submitted for the competition. One first prize and one second prize was awarded.
