The study examines the regulatory and market environment and the financial feasibility of setting up a corporate solar power plant in Hungary. It overviews the historical evolution of electricity market prices and regulated tariffs, and provides a forecasts for the expected future end-user prices. It presents return on investment and LCOE calculations for the different options of construcing the PV plant (self-build, applying for RES support, PPA).
