On 14 July 2021, the European Commission published an initiative to amend climate change legislation to create the legal framework for meeting the target of areduction of at least 55% in greenhouse gas emissions by 2030 compared to 1990. In the course of this work, the impacts of the Commission's legislative proposals in Hungary were analysed using the HU-TIMES model developed by the REKK. The content of the Package was analysed both as a whole and separately, highlighting the most important legislative proposals with the greatest impact on the domestic energy sector.
