The report highlights the potential advantages of forming a power procurement consortium with other big energy consumers, and assesses the Hungarian electricity and gas market from this strategic point of view. Several interviews with big industrial consumers were carried out, that showed the openness of these companies to participate in this type of cooperation. The main risks were specified in regards to organizational structure, lack of cooperation, transparency, commitment to share risk burden and information.
