Presentation of Beyond Gas Beyond 2020 research at the Central European Energy Conference 2018 focused on identifying upcoming new challenges for the region. The presentation highlighted how renewable energy targets and the coal phase-out will lead to a situation where the co-existence of new nuclear capacities and increasing RES generation will modify the priorities of energy security, for example towards flexible generation capacities.
