The aim of the study was to forecast the Romania baseload wholesale electricity price, the market value of PV and wind production and the electricity mix until 2040, using the REKK-developed European Electricity Market Model. Besides the reference scernario we also carried out two sensitivity analyses: we analysed the effect of different natural-gas prices and CO2 prices. The effect of Covid-19 on prices was also analysed.
