With the support of the Competition Culture Center of the HCA, we have developed several simulation games to practice and verify the results and predictions of economic theories in the fields of industrial organization and price regulation. The simulations are suitable for classroom application, either as individual or as group exercises. Altogether, we have prepared five games with the following topics: theory of incentive regulation, horizontal (geographic) product differentiation, trading in emissions allowances, retail competition with consumer switching costs, and market power abuse in an electricity exchange.
