As a second phase to the previous work carried out together with the Cambridge Program for Sustainable Leadership (CPSL) this working paper presents the case of renewables-based electricity generation in Poland. The paper analyzes the renewables support scheme, reviews the limits of and opportunities for investments in renewables-based electricity, and draws recommendations for regulation. In addition of the previous analysis of four Central-Eastern European countries (Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Hungary and Romania), this paper also includes a short assessment of the status of the renewable technology manufacturing sector in Poland.
