The aim of the study was to create a comprehensive and consistent overview of international market developments affecting the operation and investment climate of the Hungarian electricity market. In the study we identify the most important issues which should be analyzed in detail before deciding on any future energy policy measure (e.g. the introduction of a capacity mechanism). Furthermore, we suggest a time schedule under which the necessary studies should be carried out, and also make suggestions for which interested parties should be involved in the analysis.
