The Hungarian Gas Association commissioned the industry experts of MentorPartner and REKK to draw conclusions from the one-and-half year operation of the consumer profile based allocation and settlement system in the gas sector. We have carried out the following tasks during the project:

• Gathering DSO and trader experience related to the implementation of the system.
• Comparing applied DSO allocation methods with written procedures in the regulation.
• Analyzing the profile based allocation procedure based on user experience.
• Evaluating the accuracy of the allocation system with the help of consumption data provided by system operators.
• Evaluating the ex post correction settlement procedures.
• Proposing necessary changes to methodology, cross-checks, profile updates, data transfer, settlement methods and regulation to improve the profile based allocation system.
