The Central European Day of Energy (CEDE) was held on 5th of November 2018, 12h30, Berlaymont Building, Schuman room, Brussels, with the participation of Maroš Sefčovič, Vice-President of the European Commission in charge of the Energy Union, Jerzy Buzek, Member of the European Parliament, Chairman of ITRE Committee and other high-level EU officials.

The 3rd CEDE edition focused on cross-border energy cooperation in Central Europe. It consisted of an opening session and two debate panels. The high-level conference aimed to bring together more than 100 stakeholders from the European Institutions, national administrations, energy and energy-intensive companies, academics, experts and journalists from EU – 11, in order to provide an exchange forum between participants and to consolidate a regional energy platform.

CEDE 2018 enjoys the support of the Visegrad International Fund and is held under the Auspices of the Slovak Presidency of the Visegrad Group.
