REKK has organised its fifth scholarship competition with the support of TÁMOP programme. The competition was open for university students. The following topics were suggested for analysis:
- Estimating price elasticity of residential natural gas consumption
- Forecasting temperature and heating need based on historical data
- Renewable power plant investment from the point of banking risk
- Where should we refuel? Analysis of gas station price competition
- Transport cost competitiveness of alternative Eastern gas sources
- Public or market-based organisation of water utilities based on domestic or international experienes
10 papers were submitted for the competition. One first, one second and two third prizes were awarded.
