REKK, in consultation with the International Energy Agency (IEA) carried out an assessment of the EU natural gas market’s LNG absorption capability for the Research Group of Cheniere Energy Inc. to support related business decisions of the corporation. The focus of the study was on the identification and evaluation of entry options to the higher priced Central and South East European region and the assessment of demand growth prospects in the electricity generation and heat sectors.
