The morning session of the REKK-AURES Workshop has been devoted to the current policy challenges in relation to the 2020 national renewable targets. The aim of this session was to provide insight to the national context of four countries and to discuss the common issues and experiences that can be instrumental beyond 2020 as well.

The afternoon session has been co-chaired by the AURES project, a highly relevant research project on renewable electricity auctions in the EU, funded by the Horizon 2020 research programme.
