Organized by the Regional Centre for Energy Policy Research (REKK) in Budapest, Hungary, in partnership with the Florence School of Regulation at the European University Institute and the Centre for European Policy Studies (CEPS), the workshop was intended as the second chapter in a series of discussions on the “Schengenization” of EU Energy Policy, initiated by the Clingendael International Energy Programme. The Budapest-based workshop followed a clear objective of discussing policy drivers and early lessons from integration initiatives in Central Eastern Europe (CEE).
