Moving away from Russian gas for good? Implications of the REPowerEU Roadmap for the V4 countriesnovember 24. - Central European Energy Conference 2025
Helyszín: Pozsony

Peter Kotek presented the findings of modelling the REPowerEU roadmap from the point of view of the V4 countires. EGMM modelling suggests that implementing the Commission's proposal and banning Russian pipeline LTCs to Europe by 2028 might have negligible price effect. Early implementation would open up a spread between Western Europe and the landlocked CEE. This would have a 2-3 EUR/MWh price effect in CEE and 4-5 EUR/MWh in the Balkans.
